FIRST DRIVE: Ferrari 296 GTB – 819bhp turbo-hybrid supercar

This is the Ferrari 296 GTB. It is a deeply, furiously complex car. A 819bhp turbo-hybrid six-cylinder supercar that can also run silently on electricity.
A £241,550 Dino successor that slots into the mid-engined ‘everyday’ Ferrari lineage that started with the 308 47 years ago and has continued without interruption – and with some legendary highlights, including the 458 Speciale – ever since. Could it be one of the best prancing horses ever? Top Gear Magazine’s Head of Car Testing – Ollie Marriage – takes it on road and track to find out…

Ferrari SF90 Stradale

This Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano suggests eagerness for new adventures: it is a result of the Tailor Made program, that allows the customisation of a Ferrari according to personal taste. The vivid gloss blue of the exterior is contrasted by dreamlines in Giallo Modena to define its character, while the details in Ultrasuede Kiama JX Blab Blue of the steering wheel trace its elegance.

The F12tdf uses a variant of the F12berlinetta's 6.3 liter (6,262 cc) V12 engine, codenamed F140 FG. Redlining at 8,900 rpm, the V12 produces 769 hp (573 kW) and 520 ft·lb (705 N·m) of torque. The F12tdf also weighs 242 lb (110 kg) less than the normal F12berlinetta, leaving the weight as 3351 lb (1520 kg), which then yields a power-to-weight ratio of 506 hp (377 kW) per tonne.

FERRARI 2010 599 GTO - Rosso Corsa - Walkaround & Interior Shots

FERRARI In-depth walkaround of this 2010 Ferrari 599 GTO with highlighted features, walkaround & interior shots! G.T.O. – Gran Turismo Omologato. The 599 GTO is the third Ferrari to wear this sacred three letter badge after the legendary 250 GTO and 288 GTO.
Though some critics argue that the 599 GTO is not a real homologated thoroughbred race car for the road like the 250 and 288 GTO; however the 599 GTO is actually a road legal version of the 599 XX track car. It isn’t just a special edition Ferrari with lashings of fancy cosmetic Carbon Fibre options and a louder exhaust.

The 599 GTO carries over various high-tech technologies from the XX program including a reworked 6.0L V12 engine that produces 671 bhp and 457 lb ft of torque. This mighty 6.0L V12 engine previously seen in the Enzo hypercar, now has 12% increased efficiency over the standard 599 GTB. The 599 GTB which the 599 GTO was based on produced 612 bhp and 448 lb ft of torque. Weight reduction was also another aspect that made the 599 GTO so special, weighing in at 100kg less than the GTB at 1,605kg. Other highlights include the six into one exhaust manifold and new intake which makes the 599 GTO one of the best sounding cars ever made. The radical weight saving measures are more evident as soon as you step inside the cabin. With bare carbon fibre panels, Alcantara and 3D fabric materials; the GTO feels raw and unfiltered. Lapping Ferrari’s Fiorano test track faster than an Enzo, the 599 GTO is undoubtedly one of the best track cars ever made. Make no mistake, the 599 absolutely deserves the GTO badge.

2023 Ferrari Portofino M - Sound, interior Exterior Details

2022 Ferrari Portofino M
Starting at $230.950

Highs A bodacious bod that'll turn heads, a mighty and melodic twin-turbo V-8, a drop-top with top-notch performance. Lows Back seats are basically useless, trunk is too small with the roof stowed, common driver assists aren't standard. Verdict The Portofino M has all the ingredients of a Ferrari: Sex appeal, a acy soundtrack, and exotic performance.

Overview

The 2022 Ferrari Portofino M convertible justifies its nearly quarter-million-dollar price tag with the bravado and exotica that's exemplified by the Italian supercar maker. The Ferrari's sharply sculpted body draws gazes in the light of day, and the sound of its high-revving 612-hp twin-turbo V-8 causes goosebumps in the dark of night. The Portofino M's engine sits ahead of the driver instead of behind, making room for a pair of hilariously small back seats and a rear trunk that's only useful if the folding hardtop isn't folded. What's lost in cargo space is gained in ear ecstasy when the top is dropped and the Portofino M is being raced along a sunny coast or a mountain pass. While the 2022 Portofino M's fuel economy is middling and popular driver assists cost extra, those are likely plebian concerns to those who can afford one of these magnificent machines.

What's New for 2022?

After making it more powerful and adding a race-oriented drive mode for 2021, Ferrari hasn't made any significant changes to the Portofino M for 2022. Pricing and Which One to Buy Portofino M: $230,950 In a world where some high-end brands—cough, Porsche—offer dizzyingly long lists of add-ons, Ferrari makes life easy by limiting your choices. We'd spec ours with the optional front seats that come with ventilation and heating, and we'd add the advanced driver tech, too, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beams, and more. Ferrari offers aluminum footrests and a passenger display, but we don't see much of a need for them. Beyond those few options, what remains is to pick the color of the body, interior, brake calipers, gauges, and exhaust pipes as well as the design of the wheels.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

A Ferrari is defined by its engine as much as its styling, and the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V-8 that hides beneath the Portofino's elongated hood is excellent. The engine sends 612 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. But the claimed top speed of "over 199 mph" and estimated zero-to-60-mph time in the low three-second range aren't what's most impressive; it's the unmistakable timbre that erupts from the exhaust tips as the Portofino's tach needle charges towards the engine's 7500-rpm redline. The Portofino M we drove in the Florida Keys showcased the convertible's comfortable ride and remarkable body control that came courtesy of its well-tuned adaptive dampers. While its electrically assisted steering delivered satisfying feedback, the setup isn't as engaging as what Porsche provides. Every Portofino also features carbon-ceramic brakes that ensure this hefty GT can quickly be hauled to a stop. Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG The 2022 Portofino M is rated at 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. Both figures fall short of V-8–powered rivals such as the Bentley Continental GT (16/26 mpg city/highway) and the Aston Martin DB11(18/24 mpg city/highway). Since we haven't tested the Portofino or either of those alternatives on our 75-mph fuel-economy route, which is part of our extensive testing regimen, we can't say how efficient they are in the real world. For more information about the Portofino's fuel economy, visit the EPA's website. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo Inside, the Portofino delights the eyes with a fabulous design and magnificent materials. Its varied surfaces are stitched together with handsome leather, and the 18-way power-adjustable front seats are sculpted to provide comfort and support. The buckets can also be equipped with ventilation and neck-warming functions. Neat. There's a handy wind deflector that helps keep the cabin quiet at speed when the top is dropped, too. With a pair of small bucket seats behind the front passengers, the convertible Ferrari can technically transport up to four people. However,

The Ferrari Roma Is Ferrari’s New inherent Italian style.

The Ferrari Roma is Ferrari's new "entry-level" coupe. Today I'm reviewing the Roma to check out the latest Ferrari, with the latest Ferrari technology. I'll show you all the ins and outs of the Roma, and then I'll drive the 2021 Ferrari Roma to show you what it's like on the road.
This FerrariRoma is the result of a collaboration between designer Jiang Qiong’er and the Ferrari Tailor Made programme. In celebration of the marque’s 30th anniversary in China, it takes inspiration from classic Chinese aesthetics and fuses concepts and expertise to achieve a synthesis of Italian design philosophy and Chinoiserie Chic.
This FerrariRoma was designed in collaboration with the prominent designer Jiang Qiong’er through the Ferrari Tailor Made programme. Representing a summary of memorable moments from the last 30 years in China, it includes a key case painted in red- and gold-spotted Boluo lacquer, an ancient Chinese technique known for its unique textured finish, as well as a dedication plate engraved with the Chinese characters for “30”. The new car is coated with eye-catching contrasting colours: Sanusilver Matte and Rosso Magma Glossy, the latter paying homage to the traditional Chinese carmine red. The stripes running along the body and through the interior are inspired by characteristic features from classical Ming Dynasty furniture. The gold dedication plate is inlaid with jade, a truly captivating specimen that speaks of years of ingenuity, conveying the meaning of good wishes and reverence that perfectly blends Chinese aesthetics with the Ferrari Roma’s inherent Italian style.
